Interpretation

If your BMI is:

  • below 18.5, you are underweight
  • between 18.5 and 24.9, you are normal
  • between 25.0 and 29.9, you are overweight
  • 30 or over, you are obese

The best way to reduce BMI is a combination of good diet and regular exercise.
