C. Home modifications

Home modifications can also help relieve caregiver burden and stress by making the activities more convenient and easier. In addition, the modification of the caregivers' homes can help support their ability to maximize and maintain their own health. Unfortunately, most caregivers do not know how to locate products or professionals for home modifications. Many do not use home modifications due to expense or the lack of awareness of how the modifications can help them. Those that made changes, grab bars were the most common home modification made to help care giving.
